sage bennett
Sage Bennett is a writer, director, and photographer. She started working in film as an editor, editing commercials, documentaries, and a short currently on HBO. She currently directs a wide range of work- narrative, documentary work, music videos, and commercials. Her recent short “Grandma Kitty’s Ping Pong,” received international acclaim, selected in 12 festivals worldwide. Her most recent short “Placebo” premiered on NOWNESS and received the Tarkovsky Grant.
Sage was selected by Shoot Magazine as an up and coming director to watch. She is a member of Free the Work and her work has been featured in publications such as LadyGunn Magazine, The Directors Library, Born Rival, and Kaltbult Magazine.
Sage taps into universal truths from a feminine perspective. She is passionate about telling stories that make people find levity, and feel!
